1990: Sign up as Technical development partner for the DTM Team AMG Mercedes/Opel/Ford programmes
1991: Power/Efficiency assist the majority of the Indycar and F1™ grid at various points over the next decade
1992: Sign up as technical development partner for the McLaren Cars F1 roadcar programme
1995: Sign up as technical development partner for the McLaren Cars Motorsport, F1 GTR competition development programme
1996: Full blown F1™, Indycar, & Le Mans fabrication operation (Engine, Suspension, & Efficiency specialists)… branded Parallel Motion Engineers
1997: Key development partner with the ‘Longtail’ McLaren F1 GTR
1998: Significantly increased chassis and suspension operations. (Racing dynamics> lighter=faster).
1999: Joined by ex-NISMO Europe technical team members.
2000: Sparshott* Engineering (Chassis & Suspension specialists) amalgamated with Parallel Motion. Moved into Parallel Motion HQ buildings in joint technical & strategic partnership.

2000: Rapidly expanding relationship with the newly created HWA GmbH (AMG Mercedes Racing) in the reformed DTM
2002: Expanded outfit, known exclusively as Parallel Motion, active in highest echelons of Race, Rally, & Track competition, through major partnerships with Prodrive, Reynard Motorsport, Toyota F1 etc.

2003: Parallel Motion headed by Automotive entrepreneur Ian Donaldson: (Race) – Race Team Consultancy, Lister Racing co-owner, Elite racecar acquisition specialist, Cosworth world authoritarian, National Rally Champion, privateer Le Mans racer. (Road) – Automotive Manufacturer Consultancy, Lister Cars co-owner, Elite roadcar investment acquisition specialist, Jaguar XJ220 world authoritarian.
2004: Majority of elite racing teams now fuelled by rapidly swelling manufacturer finance budgets and requirement models, sees movement of majority of components in-house where possible, thereby gradually reducing teams’ reliance on outside suppliers.
2005: A new era requiring a renewed focus on consultancy for race teams and roadcar manufacturers, and not squarely on component manufacture.

2008: Parallel Motion Consultants (designers), successfully diversify with renewed attention on design consultancy for elite Supercar race teams and exotic vehicle manufacturers.
2009: Technical development partner on world’s first competition Bentley Continental GT Group N racecar.
2010: Technical partner M-Tech Racing, Ferrari 430 Scuderia GT3, International FIA GT
2011: Technical partner Aston Martin Racing, International FIA GT
2012: Technical partner Aston Martin Racing and Gulf Racing, Le Mans
2014: Parallel Motion Group headed by Automotive designer/consultant Haroon Ali, succesfully expands into multi-industry collaborations.
